well, this session was supposed to be all about baby! But big sister and her beautiful hazel eyes stole her little brothers moment. That is probably ok though because we all know that babies get the most attention anyway. Baby gave us a bit of an attitude but according to mom and dad that is typical of him. So while he was giving his parents attitude we took the time to grab some pics of his sister. These pictures of his sister are incredible. There are a lot more beautiful pictures I can’t wait to show you guys. here is just a sneak peek because we had to cancel your proofing session! due to snow, IN OCTOBER? Can’t wait to see you. H

This little guy was so cute. His parents were great at bouncing him, throwing him and whatever else they needed to do to keep baby interested in me. I told them he seems a bit curious and active for his age and I think they are going to have their hands full when he can really get around. Good luck! :) Heather

I had the privilege of photographing baby Sophia today. She was so tiny and so sweet. I wanted to share this picture because we were able to capture her smiling. so cute. She was a little bit spunky, but we had a great session overall.

Our spring sessions with live bunnies and chicks were very fun this year! As always we had some screamers, some chickens (the kids), and some very excited kiddos as well. :) It turned out everyone survived the 2 days

. The bunnies returned to their home and the chicks are now living on a horse farm to lay eggs.
I have been photographing this family since their oldest was a tiny baby! I just adore them all! And lucky for me they keep having beautiful babies, so I keep getting to see them. they live very far away so I only get to see them if they have a baby. Sorry to say so daddy…. But I would like to see you again soon and I am sure mommy is on board with me! LOL. H
This session was an extra (non baby session) so we could get their beautiful gallery wraps at the age mommy loves to capture. this was baby number two’s gallery wrap session.

sure, why not? We have been playing around with this for awhile now and it is always fun. This dog was soooooo well behaved, except he didn’t want to look at the camera, we have a great family pic where he is looking at me, but these are just too cute, I have to show them to you.
How funny is the one where he doesn’t want his picture taken anymore?
oh and of course I am putting up some gorgeous pics of baby boy!
This is it: my favorite one!

This pictures is so funny: this is what it is really like. Dog wants to be with daddy. When dog is ready, baby rolls over, when baby is ready, dog slides back to daddy. haha!

The dog is in love with daddy, can you tell?

ok, That is a start to the blog update. I will keep going through last years pics and put up some more as well as keep putting up new ones. Thanks for checking it out. I am going to bed! H
This is always my favorite crop. I love their eyes. H

yep, I said 5 kids. Most of you know this already but for those of you who don’t Eric and I will have 5 kids together. I have three girls and he has two boys. their ages are 8, 8, 6, 5, and 3. We have been living together for two years and things have been going incredibly well. To answer your common questions. 1. yes, it is busy… We call it controlled chaos. 2. No, it isn’t hard because Eric and I work as a team and run our household as one big family, not separate families (his kids/my kids). 3. It works well because Eric is so patient and kind. He is actually more patient then I am. 4. It isn’t that much different than having 3 kids. If you want it to run smoothly you have to be consistent, have a routine, do what you say your going to do, let them know what you expect of them and praise them when they follow through, respect and love them and they will love and respect you back. 5. yes, your right almost the brady bunch…. if you count cooper our dog. He would fill the brady bunch quota. 6. are we having more you ask?? You’ll just have to wait and see! H

Yep! Eric and I are getting married. Yippie! Eric (well, not just Eric) asked me to marry him in October 2010. All 5 of the kids (his two boys and my three girls) asked me to marry him. It was so cute! The kids had this big surprise dinner at Greenfield Inn. They thought I was totally unsuspecting. But due to the fact they were dressed to the nines and the boys were in ties….hum? I don’t believe I normally see them in ties…. not to mention they were bursting at the seams with excitement. So, they all chimed in after dinner and asked if I would marry Eric. Of course I said yes. And the wedding plans are currently on the way. Many of you know Eric from our bunny and chick day. He is the animal wrangler and will be again this year as well. So here are some pictures of my boys-to-be I did for a surprise for Eric at christmastime.
